About the guests:
Angel Darcourt is an activist from St. Paul MN. Angel is inspired by the difference organizing has made in communities like hers. She has successfully directed numerous field offices on important political and issue campaigns, from electing labor-friendly candidates in Houston, Texas, to raising the minimum wage, to guaranteeing sick and safe time for workers in the Twin Cities. As the National Field Director for Working America she supervises field operations in offices across the country.
Hibba Meraay is a Senior Program Strategist at the Analyst Institute. For over a decade, Analyst Institute has conducted research and collected evidence to co-power the vital work of allies across the civic engagement, social justice, and progressive landscape. Their research helps organizations learn what works, and they share these findings with partners across the sector. Alongside leading organizations and changemakers, Analyst Institute has run and analyzed nearly 800 experiments on topics such as get-out-the-vote, voter registration, volunteer engagement, and persuasion. They also serve as a central hub for evidence-based strategy by convening the Analyst Group, a members-only community of practice of over 10,000 practitioners, funders, technologists, and academics committed to building collective knowledge.
