Actor and activist, Jane Fonda, welcomes WWE superstar and passionate environmentalist, Brie Bella, and Greenpeace USA wildfire expert, Dr. Amy Moas, to discuss how climate-driven wildfires are changing the liveability of places we love in the Western US. Join Jane, Brie, and Amy to find out more about why these wildfires are worsening, how they are impacting people, and what we can do about it.

About the guests:

Brie Bella is an Entrepreneur, Philanthropist, Executive Producer, New York Times best-selling author, Motivational Speaker, and WWE Hall of Famer. As a WWE Superstar, Brie has entertained millions around the world with her athleticism, confidence, and genuine personality. Brie debuted on SmackDown in 2008, became DivasChampion in 2011, and was named Diva of the Year in 2013. Brie and her twin sister, Nikki, were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2020. Brie is the co-host of The Bellas Podcast on SiriusXM’s Stitcher. She will next appear in the four E! special event series, Nikki Bella Says I Do, which is set to premiere on the network in early 2023. Brie recently competed on Fox’s competition series “The Real Dirty Dancing. She starred on E!’s hit reality show, Total Divas, and starred in and Executive Produced Total Bellas for six seasons alongside Nikki. The Bella Twins debut memoir, INCOMPARABLE, debuted on the New York Times best seller list as well as USA Today, Wall Street Journal, and Publishers Weekly in May 2020. Brie and Nikki continue to grow their empire with Bonita Bonita wine and as investors and collaborators for Colugo. Brie currently resides in Napa, CA with her husband Daniel Bryan and their two children Birdie & Buddy.

Amy Moas, Ph.D. is senior climate campaigner for Greenpeace USA. Prior to her focus on oil and gas drilling in California and its impact on our climate and public health, she was a senior member of Greenpeace’s forest team specializing in global and domestic forest ecosystems and drivers of deforestation and forest degradation. Amy has more than 10 years of academic and advocacy experience with the critical natural role fire plays in the forest and how climate change is dramatically altering how fire behaves and who it impacts. Amy has a doctorate in environmental science from the University of Nevada.
