Rights & Wrongs: Mass Murder on Saudi Arabia’s Border | Human Right Watch

A groundbreaking new report by Human Rights Watch has documented how Saudi border forces have killed hundreds, perhaps thousands of migrants at their border with Yemen.

Most of these migrants are Ethiopian and are already fleeing drought, conflict and a deteriorating humanitarian situation at home. When they get to Saudi Arabia’s border, they’re met with injury, even death.

Nadia Hardman, a Researcher at Human Rights Watch and the report’s author, as well Sam Dubberley, who is the Managing Director of Human Rights Watch’s Digital Investigations Lab, talk to us about the scale of the violence as well as the investigation behind the report.
